• Age: Below 28 years as on 01 January 2023 (Affidavit not acceptable)
• Educational Qualification (Minimum):
  A. Engineers Core: Minimum CGPA-3.00 (out of 4.00) in B.Sc Engineering Examination in concerned subject (Civil Engineering) with minimum GPA-4.50 in both SSC and HSC Examinations.
  b. Signals Core: Minimum CGPA-3.00 (out of 4.00) in B.Sc Engineering Examination with a minimum GPA-4.50 in both SSC and HSC Examinations in relevant subject (Computer Science & Engineering).                     c. Electrical & Mechanical Engineering (EME) Core: Minimum CGPA-3.00 in B.Sc Engineering Examination in related subject (Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering) with minimum GPA-4.50 in both SSC & HSC examination (4.00 in between). d. Army Education Core (AEC): Must be Master’s degree with honors in both SSC and HSC examination with CGPA-3.00 (out of 4.00) result in relevant subject (Mathematics) with minimum GPA-4.00.
• Marital Status:
  A. Male: Single. However, all married male candidates whose age will be above 26 years as on 01 January 2023 can also apply. However, appropriate legal action will be taken against any trainee or officer who has not attained the age of 26 years as on 01 January 2023 who is married at any time before or after joining for training.
  b. Female: Single/Married
• Nationality: Should be a Bangladeshi citizen by birth.

*Excessive weight on the scale prescribed for armed forces according to height and age will be considered ineligible.

Disqualification for the candidate:

•  Removed/dismissed from Army/Navy/Air Force or any Government service.
• Screened out/rejected 02 (two) times by ISSB (once screened out and once rejected can apply). However, candidates screened out/rejected 02 (two) times in the previous 05 (five) years can also apply.
• Amblyopia and farsightedness greater than 2.5 diopters and astigmatism greater than 1.0 diopters in each eye will be considered ineligible.
• Disqualified by the Appellate Medical Board of Army, Navy, Air Force.

Selection Procedure:

বাংলাদেশ সেনাবাহিনী নিয়োগ বিজ্ঞপ্তি  Written Examination

The written examination (100 marks in professional subjects) will be held on 02 September 2022 at 0900 hrs at Shaheed Bir Bikram Ramiz Uddin Cantonment School, Dhaka Cantonment.

Completed Application Process: Candidates will print out the call-up letter and carry it along with the call-up letter during the examination.

The result of the written test will be announced in the 4th week of September 2022 through website and SMS/Telephone.

 Preliminary Health and Oral Examination বাংলাদেশ সেনাবাহিনী নিয়োগ ২০২২ সার্কুলার

The preliminary health and oral examination of the candidates who have passed the written test will be held from 10th October 2022 to 13th October 2022 at AFMI Office, Dhaka Cantonment.

Original copies of all examination certificates and marksheets and call-up letter must be produced at the time of oral examination, failing which will be considered ineligible.

 ISSB Examination সেনাবাহিনী নিয়োগ ২০২২ সার্কুলার Army Job Circular 2022

Candidates who qualify the written and oral examination will have to appear for the examination/interview at the ISSB located at Dhaka Cantonment on the scheduled date.

The exam/interview date will be published on the ISSB website. The examination will be completed in four days and all expenses will be borne by the government.
