Finally, let’s look at one of the blockbuster movies of this year’s animation genre, and the fifth movie of the popular franchise like Despicable Me, Minions.
There is a super villain group called the Vicious Six. So, our Guru wants to be a villain since childhood. Gru wants to be a member of that group.
So, for some reason, Gru is kidnapped by a member of the Vicious Six. Our beloved Kevin, Stuart, and Bob embark on their mission to save Gru.
It is being talked about why Guru was kidnapped.? Can the minions save Gru? Or will it make a mess? The rest is in the movie.
I don’t know what to say about the movie. I just saw it. It cannot be understood as such a beautiful movie. Also, the antics of our beloved Kevin, Stewart, and Bob are simply amazing.
So I won’t say more because we all have seen all the previous movies, so there is no need to say what level the comedy is going to be.
Just one word, watch the movie instantly and enjoy. Mistakes are forgivable.
We movie lovers are more or less familiar with the name Minions, the 2nd installment of the Minions franchise and the 5th installment of the Despicable Me franchise.
By hearing the name The Rise Of Gru, you can understand the story of Gru’s childhood. He wants to be a super villain. This is his dream.
How he met the Minions, grew up with them, and mischief with the Minions is the story. I don’t want to spoil the fun by saying too much of the story, check it out for yourself.
Kyle Balda never disappoints again with Minions (2015), Despicable Me 3 (2017) both crossing billions at the box office.
Then you can understand the Hughes fan base and I also belong to that fan base, so those who are fans like me will not be disappointed at all, so you can watch this movie without wasting time. Moreover, it has already occupied the 5th place in the list of the highest grossing movies of 2022 ❤️ (I can’t write in order, if there is any mistake, I will look at it with a beautiful eye).
Minions: The Rise of Gru is the second installment of the Minions movie and the fifth movie in the Despicable Me franchise. The movie is Gru’s origin story showing how he became a super villain as a child with the help of his minions.
To be honest, Minions characters are very dear to me. Sometimes I still watch their videos when I’m upset. So after watching the trailer of this new movie, I eagerly waited to watch the movie.
Like the previous movie, Kevin, Bob and Stuart are seen in the lead roles. But this time, along with them, little Gru and another Minion named Otto are also keeping up with the screen. Especially seeing little Gru was fun.
Once the Otto character starts talking, there’s no stopping him, which is why many comedic moments are built around him that are absolutely on point.
Two other characters are notable, Master Chow and Wild Knuckles. At one point in the movie’s storyline, Kevin, Bob and Stuart train with Master Chow to learn kung fu. I found that part to be the funniest in the whole movie.
There are moments in this piece where you can’t help but smile. Little Gru has the most screen time with the character Wild Knuckles. A very beautiful bonding is formed between them which will touch your heart.
The villains of the movie were cheesy and over the top like the previous movies. However, among some of the villains you will find similarities to some popular horror movie villains which were quite hilarious.
Since this movie is a prequel to the Despicable Me movies, there are young versions of several characters from the previous movies which I like. The movie’s animation style and use of sound were excellent.
Also, a scene in the movie seems to use an Easter egg from the movie “Everything Everywhere All at Once” which is very funny.
The movie has voice work by Steve Carell, Pierre Coffin, Michelle Yeoh, Taraji P. Henson, Alan Arkin and many others and the work is excellent.
The work has been excellent. All in all, Minions: The Rise of Gru is an entertaining and easily enjoyable movie. The target audience of this movie is kids so there are many elements for them to enjoy.
Those of us who have been fans of the franchise since the first Despicable Me movie will also have a good time with this movie. But if the story could have been done a bit better then there would be no complaints.
Those who have seen it must tell you how they liked this movie.
